Anyone who knows me will know that I have been working for every single thing that I have since I was 14 years old and anyone who knows me will know that I have literally given the clothes off my back. For me to have to post this and request help from others was very hard and I will never forget the generosity of others. In February of 2019 my children and I opened our hearts and our home and my niece came to stay with us. It was a very emotionally, financially and sometimes physically challenging time. I felt exhausted and overwhelmed more times the night ever have in my life before or since. The kindness, generosity and caring that was shown to us during that time was so powerful. My niece is now doing well and living with her uncle. The Disney trip we had to cancel when all this happened with something we never thought we'd get to do but in 2021 my kids and I made it to Disney. I still have to make trade-offs to get by but we have everything we need and then some. I'm going to play and selling my house and moving us into a camper but it's not really realistic with two kids in high school. Maybe in a few years... Hahaha. Just seems kind of silly sometimes to be working so hard just but I've been grad school right now thanks too student loans and grant programs so hopefully that will lead to more lucrative career choices when I graduate in May. I just want to say thank you again. ❤️
