Who are Happy Kids?
Happy Kids- Promising Purpose, UK is a non- profit organization that is focused on supporting and encouraging orphans in Nigeria. Studies show that children who have lost their parents feel a sense of rejection, anger, uncertainty and insecurity. We have a special place in our heart for them, and want to help restore that sense of joyfulness and security that God has promised them, as well as help them realise the purpose they have and that their future can be bright.
What have Happy Kids been up to?
For the last three years, Happy Kids have supported orphanages in Lagos, Nigeria by throwing our annual Christmas Funfair parties as well as helping them financially where needed e.g with school fees, food, supplies etc.
We invite the Homes out to a prime location in Lagos for a financially free fun day. The day consists of music, food, games, gifts, transportation, performances and many more. We find it extremely fulfilling to see the children genuinely so excited and enjoying themselves. The aim of the event is for the children to be inspired and to leave knowing how valued they are and that no matter their circumstance, they are still entitled to so much.
Our theme this year is carnival!
We aim to raise an additional N1.5 million Naira to help the children with education and provide the homes with financial support throughout the year. We plan to do this through donations, sponsorship and events focused on raising money.
This year, Happy Kids Promising Purpose Funfair event will be held on Friday 27th of December 2019 at Upbeat Recreational Centre, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos .
