Happy Buddy creates a safe space for rescued dogs and horses

For the past 3 years, I have been following my project Happy Buddy Algarve.

Now we are in a big need of a fence, and we need to fix our van to create a safe environment for all the rescued dogs and to help relocate them. That's why we need your donations.❤️

Both cost a lot of money, which I don’t have because all my money goes to rescuing animals, especially dogs and horses.

The past weeks showed me again how much money goes to emergency cases.

Two dogs were attacked by wild boars and one by a snake.

I’m originally from the southern part of Germany, nestled in the mountains. For the past seven years, I have been living in the Algarve region of Portugal. I purchased a large property here, spanning 30 hectares, which features a small ruin, a tranquil lake, and plenty of natural surroundings—a peaceful place for rehabilitating animals. I have lived alongside wolves and many street dogs, and this has shaped the way I care for my pack. I have eight dogs of my own, along with three horses, and I often have various dogs for sitting, therapy, and rescue around me. As you can see, these are all my dogs and this is my property.

So, we live together like a pack and that’s how I train my clients to give a dog back a pack. Because dogs are pack animals, and they need a pack and they need a leader and that is where my focus is. My focus is on therapy for dogs and horses. It means I rescue horses and dogs and then they come to me, and get a peaceful therapy which means that I leave them as they are and let them recover step by step, no pressure on them. So, step by step, they come back healthy and happy and then we get a chance to find a new home for these lovely souls.

All my money goes to the animals. My job is also that I do therapy with dogs, I do dog training and I also do some massages to help humans.

We also have emergency dogs and horses that need medical attention and vet treatments, but that costs a lot of money and a lot of attention. That is why we are asking for donations to help us move forward, to help more dogs and horses get better and to pay for the treatments and medical care.

Now I come to a point where I can't handle it by myself anymore. Because my income is so low, and it goes all to the animals. That’s why I need you people outside to help us to make the project more proper, bigger and give more dogs and horses a good place to recover.

For three years I follow my project Happy Buddy Algarve, a rescue center for traumatized animals. We need so important; we need a fence for defending the property that can give a safe space to the animals. And this is our van. It is broken. Its head gas is broken. It has been broken for two years now. Getting the van back on the road is very important to us. We need a big car to transport the dogs and the trailer for the horses. We need to take the water tanks for the horses to the field.

And, of course, you kind people get an exchange. As an exchange I can offer you online dog training. This means that we go in touch. You send me the videos of your dogs. You tell me what the problem is. And we will find a good way to train your dog and help you get a better relationship with your animals.

And if you donate more than €500, you will be invited to our dog retreat. That means you can come to Portugal. You will live here with us in a beautiful, cozy caravan. And you come with us for training, socialwalks and our walks. That way you learn, your dog learns and we all bond and become one big pack and have a great time.

We would all be so grateful for a little support. If we all get together and spend just one euro at the end, it will add up to a lot of money. And we can fix the fence and we can fix the car.
