This fundraiser is an opportunity to bless Pastor David and Jackie Hanson. For many years it has been observed that there is a need for exterior repairs on their home. Several attempts at renewal have not resulted in the changes needed to beautify their home. This outreach is an attempt to bring closure to these efforts. What we plan to do in our efforts is to have vinyl siding placed on their home. We have estimated that with materials and labor we will need about $10,000.00 to do a decent job. Some of the labor will be provided by individuals who have already agreed to assist us at no cost. What I am requesting is the help of our alumni, family, and friends to assist in this endeavor. Pastor David Hanson has served as an assistant pastor at Victory Christian Assembly, Indiana, PA for 21 years. He also served as music director for the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Voices of Joy. In 2010 he was appointed as pastor at Beulah Baptist Church, Indiana, PA. His belief has always been that the people he serves come first. Now it is time to consider serving the Hanson Family. He has had a tremendous impact with IUP students as well as our Indiana community. He has a heart to serve! 

Pastor Hanson and Jackie have put their four children through college, and they are doing well trying to be successful during these difficult times.  It is time that we lend a helping hand where we can. The Hanson’s are advancing in age, and it is now time for them to enjoy the fruits of their labor. This will be made possible by us collectively coming together and assisting in getting this job done. We would like to thank everyone for your contribution toward this outreach.
