Liebe Familien, Freunde und alle die mit uns fühlen,

im Juni hat Hannah gerade erst ihren 17. Geburtstag gefeiert und im Juli auf ihrem Abschlussball getanzt.

Ein junges Mädchen voller Träume, Energie und Lebensfreude, das darauf brannte, die Welt zu entdecken und endlich ihr eigenes Geld in ihrer Ausbildung zur Chemielaborantin zu verdienen.

Das Motorrad fahren bedeutete für Hannah pure Freiheit, Unabhängigkeit und dieses unbeschreibliche Gefühl alle Sorgen zu vergessen - wenn auch nur für einen Moment im Leben.

Am 1. August veränderte ein tragischer Moment bei Immenstadt jedoch schlagartig ihr gesamtes Leben. Hannah hatte einen schweren Motorrad-Unfall.

Ein Unfall mit so schweren Verletzungen, dass die Ärzte sagten, kaum einer schafft es unter diesen Umständen noch lebend ins Krankenhaus...

Die ersten Tage war es unklar ob sie überhaupt überlebt...

Die Diagnose - niederschmetternd: Hannah ist ab jetzt querschnittsgelähmt.

Von einer Sekunde auf die andere steht für Hannah und ihre Familie die Welt still.

Aktuell kann sich Hannah noch gar nicht vorstellen, wie ein eigenständiges Leben im Rollstuhl jemals aussehen soll. Die Ungewissheit, und die Angst vor der Zukunft wiegen mehr als schwer.

Wer Hannah kennt, weiß, was für eine unglaublich starke und liebevolle junge Frau sie ist:

Unendliche Herzenswärme:

Selbst noch auf der Intensivstation und in der schwersten Phase ihres Lebens, denkt Hannah nicht zuerst an sich. Sie fragt ununterbrochen nach den Anderen und möchte wissen, wie es ihren Liebsten geht.

Sie will nicht, dass wegen ihr jemand leidet...

Ihr unerschütterlicher Humor:

Selbst jetzt hat sie ihr Lächeln und ihren Humor nicht verloren. Sie kämpft tapfer und versucht, das Beste aus dieser unfassbar schweren Situation zu machen.

Liebe zu ihrer Familie:

Mit Tränen in den Augen sagt sie immer wieder, dass sie all das hier nur durchsteht wenn die anderen das wollen...

Die schönste Zeit am Tag ist, wenn die Familie und auch Freunde bei ihr sind, und sie zählt immer die Stunden bis dahin.

Hannah ist die älteste Tochter einer Großfamilie. Die 3 kleinen Geschwister sind 9, 7 und fast 5.

Die Kleinen vermissen ihre große Schwester unglaublich und haben Angst.

Warum Hannah eure Hilfe braucht:

Die Familie steht aktuell emotional völlig am Limit. Zu dem unendlichen Schmerz und die Angst um Hannahs Gesundheit kommt nun die Sorge vor den finanziellen Hürden, deren Höhe derzeit noch nicht abzuschätzen ist.

- Barrierefreier Umbau des Zuhauses

- Ein Rollstuhl, der ihren Bedürfnissen angepasst werden kann und ihre eingeschränkte Mobilität ausgleicht

- Ein eigenes, speziell auf sie umgebautes Auto, damit sie wenigstens wieder selbständig sein kann, was ihr so wichtig war und gerade erst anfing

- Medizinische Hilfsmittel, Zuzahlungen, da die Krankenkasse voraussichtlich nur den Basissatz zahlt

- Für Hannah, deren Lebensentwurf sich schlagartig verändert hat. Damit sie die finanziellen Mittel hat, wieder nach vorne zu blicken, neue Passionen auszuprobieren und genau das zu tun, was ihr Herz heilt.

Genau diese Chance wollen wir ihr gemeinsam geben, wieder Zuversicht zu fassen. Wir möchten ihr zeigen, dass das Leben auch im Rollstuhl noch wunderschön, frei und lebenswert sein kann. Helft uns bitte dabei.

Kurz zu meiner Person als Organisator:

Viele in Polling werden mich noch kennen von der hiesigen Fleisch- & Wursttheke im Edeka. Ich heiße Alex Leonhardt, und wohne seit über 3 Jahren in einer Wohngemeinschaft mit Hannah und ihrer großen Familie. Ihre Mama kenne ich jetzt seit 20 Jahren, als wir beide noch auf dem Erdbeer Feld bei Polling und Weilheim gejobbt haben. In dieser Zeit sind mir alle Kinder und die ganze Familie noch mehr ans Herz gewachsen. Mit Hannah hatte ich auch sofort einen guten Draht. Sie ist einfach so empathisch und klug, und es macht so Spaß sich mit ihr zu unterhalten. Weil sie witzig ist und aufmerksam. Als dieser furchtbare Unfall passiert ist, war ihre gesamte Familie wie gelähmt. Ebenso die engen Freunde. Irgendwie muss man dann nur noch funktionieren. Und das tun alle, mal mehr mal weniger.

Aber um uns geht es nicht, sondern um Hannah! Noch Tage zuvor auf dem Abschlussball gewesen und fröhlich getanzt, ist jetzt eine andere Realität Bestandteil dieser Familie. Daher hatte ich der Großfamilie empfohlen eine GoFundMe Kampagne ins Leben zu rufen. Zwar gab es erst bedenken - doch steht Hannah im Vordergrund. Es ist wichtig diesem jungen, und besonderen Menschen wieder eine Perspektive schenken zu können. Dafür ist dieses Geld gedacht. Dafür, dass sie wieder mobil ist, mit einem Rollstuhl für ihre Bedürfnisse und einem Auto, für ihre Unabhängigkeit. Für die Umbauten im Haus, damit sie überall ohne Probleme hingelangen kann. Für Therapien, Träume, etc. All das kostet unfassbar viel.

Spendenbegünstigte ist ihre Mama, Daniela Lindemann, da Hannah erst 17 ist, darf sie selbst noch keine GoFundMe Kampagne starten. Wie auch - in ihrem Zustand? Ich habe als Vertrauensperson die Initiative ergriffen und ins Leben gerufen. Nochmal danke von Herzen an alle, die so viel Geld und Liebe schenken, und somit Hoffnung Hannah's Leben ein wenig leichter zu gestalten.

Dear families, friends, and everyone who is sharing our concern,

In June, Hannah had just celebrated her 17th birthday, and in July she danced at her prom.

She was a young girl full of dreams, energy, and joy, eager to discover the world and finally earn her own money during her vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician.

For Hannah, riding a motorcycle meant pure freedom and independence - and that indescribable feeling of forgetting all her worries, even if only for a brief moment.

However, on August 1, a tragic moment near Immenstadt suddenly changed her entire life. Hannah was involved in a serious motorcycle accident.

She sustained such severe injuries that the doctors said that hardly anyone in such circumstances would make it to the hospital alive. During the first few days, it was uncertain whether she would survive at all.

The diagnosis was devastating: Hannah is now paraplegic.

From one second to the next, the world came to a standstill for Hannah and her family.

At the moment, Hannah cannot even imagine what an independent life in a wheelchair might look like. The uncertainty and fear of the future are overwhelming.

Anyone who knows Hannah knows what an incredibly strong and loving young woman she is:

An extraordinary warmth of heart:

Even in the intensive care unit and during the most difficult phase of her life, Hannah does not think of herself first. She constantly asks about everyone else and wants to know how her loved ones are doing. She does not want anyone to suffer because of her.

Her unwavering sense of humor:

Even now, she has not lost her smile or her sense of humor. She is fighting bravely and trying to make the best of this unimaginably difficult situation.

Her love for her family:

With tears in her eyes, she repeatedly says that she can only get through all of this if the others want her to.

The best time of day for her is when her family and friends are with her, and she always counts the hours until they arrive.

Hannah is the eldest daughter in a large family. Her three younger siblings are 9, 7, and almost 5 years old.

The children miss their big sister terribly and are afraid.

Why Hannah needs your help:

The family is currently at the very limits of what they can cope with emotionally. Alongside the immense pain and fear for Hannah’s health, they are now facing financial challenges whose scale cannot yet be estimated.

- Making the family home accessible

- A wheelchair that can be individually adapted to her needs and compensate for her limited mobility

- Her own specially adapted vehicle, so that she can regain at least some independence - something that has always been very important to her and that she had only just begun to experience

- Medical equipment and co-payments, as the health insurance provider is expected to cover only the basic level of support

- For Hannah, whose life plan has changed drastically. So that she has the financial means to look ahead again, try out new passions and do exactly what heals her heart

We want to give Hannah the chance to regain hope and confidence. We want to show her that life in a wheelchair can still be beautiful, free, and worth living. Please help us make this possible.

A brief introduction from me - the organizer:

Many people in Polling might remember me from the meat and deli counter at the local Edeka. My name is Alex Leonhardt, and for over three years, I’ve been living in the same household as Hannah and her large family. I’ve known her mom for 20 years now - ever since we both worked summer jobs at the strawberry fields near Polling and Weilheim. Over that time, the children and the entire family have become very dear to me. I hit it off with Hannah right away, too; she is so empathetic and intelligent, and it’s a joy to talk to her - she’s funny and attentive. When that terrible accident happened, her whole family was left in a state of shock, as were her close friends. Somehow, you just have to keep functioning - and everyone is doing just that, in their own way.

But this isn't about us; it’s about Hannah! She had been at her prom and dancing happily just days before, but now a completely different reality has become part of the family's life. That’s why I suggested the family start a GoFundMe campaign. There were some initial reservations, but Hannah is the priority. It's vital to give this young, special person a future to look forward to. That is what this money is for: to restore her mobility with a wheelchair tailored to her needs and a car to ensure her independence; to modify the house so she can get around easily; and to fund therapies, dreams, and more. All of this costs an incredible amount of money.

The beneficiary of the donations is her mom, Daniela Lindemann. Since Hannah is only 17, she isn't allowed to start a GoFundMe campaign herself. How could she, given her condition? As her trusted confidante, I took the initiative and launched the campaign. A heartfelt thank you again to everyone who has given so much money and love, thus bringing hope to make Hannah's life a little easier.
