Hannah Hillman - Peru 26

My name is Hannah. I am fundraising to take part in a volunteering expedition to Peru in summer 2026, straight after my GCSEs.

My school expedition will be run by Camps International, a social enterprise who specialise in ethical and responsible travel.

I will be working alongside local people on high impact, sustainable social and environmental projects. I will also take part in a five-day trek in the Sacred Valley, with the goal of reaching Machu Picchu (2,430m) for sunrise.

This life-changing expedition will be an incredible opportunity for me to immerse myself in another culture, learn many new skills, develop as an individual and as part of a team, whilst making a real and lasting difference to local communities. The challenge starts now and the fundraising is as much part of the journey as the expedition itself. If you can help me to get to Peru, then I will be extremely grateful!
