Hannah and David had their sweet boys on 5-16 and 32 weeks and 5 days!!!! After numerous hospital stays, more than I can count ultrasounds, too many IVs for Hannah, God blessed us with two very tiny boys. Daniel R was born at 12:53 weighing 4.4 lbs and David Jr. (DJ) at 12:55 pm weighing 1.14 lbs.

After all of that, both sweet boys have RSV. Daniel was checked out at Erlanger, then DJ was sent there, the pediatrician felt it necessary. He’s doing better but still not out of the woods. DJ was getting better but took a turn for the worse. Hannah was holding him this morning and his little body went lifeless. A mother’s worse nightmare. He was sedated and put on a ventilator and feeding tube. He is a little coherent when talked to and he has moved his arm and leg. He's been fighting since before he came into this big world and he's so strong. He coded, he had 1 1/2 collapsed lungs and is now on a ventilator. They cry without sound, cough and throw up without sound, shakes, tremors,!! It’s an inconsolable cry you can’t help. It’s heart-wrenching beyond anything, anyone has ever felt before!! Please pray for Daniel and soon DJ for the drug withdrawals to go away. They haven’t gotten to hold little DJ in 12 days. Daniel gets to be held but it’s such an ordeal with all the wires and life-saving devices. David and Hannah are not working because they need each other, the babies need each of them. Daniel has at least 1 more week and DJ 3 more weeks in The PICU.
