Parachute Jump Fundraiser for Hannah Cooper

PLEASE HELP

Hello, My name is Martyn Sinclair. I am the Chairperson of Great Yarmouth Town Football Club. About a week ago we heard some very sad news regarding an 8 year old girl who lives in our town of Great Yarmouth.

Her name is Hannah Cooper. Up till Aug this year, Hannah was your typical cheeky, fun loving child.

At first Hannah had said her eyes were hurting and was prescribed a pair of glasses. Then, the eight-year-old started suffering from headaches, her mother believed that it was due to her glasses. Then one morning, Hannah woke up and her left side was numb. Doctors thought Hannah may have suffered a stroke & she was sent to Addenbrookes hospital for further consultation. It was there that this beautiful, sweet, innocent little girl was diagnosed with DIPG, a rare form of brain cancer, for which, unfortunately there is no cure. Hannah knows she is poorly, her speech has become slurred & is now in a wheelchair.

On the afternoon of Saturday 15th October I will be jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane on my maiden tandem skydive in Beccles (Suffolk). I’ve only had a few days to prepare after my lovely work colleagues at Norfolk Ceilings treated me for my recent milestone birthday. I don’t want to miss this opportunity not to turn this into a fund raising opportunity so here goes … I may not be scared of heights but I’m actually a little scared about jumping out of a plane at several thousand feet but this is insignificant compared to what Hannah, her parents and her family are going through after doctors have very sadly given Hannah only a few months to live .

We at Great Yarmouth Town FC are fundraising to help raise as much money as possible for Hannah and her family to help them share some happy memories together in the limited time that she has left in this world. This is such a heartbreaking time for Hannah and her family so please donate whatever you can or if not then please share this as far and wide as you can thank you so much for reading and I hope that you can donate something as every pound really does count ❤
