Hannah & Ash’s IVF Journey

Hi everyone,

We’re Hannah and Ash. We first met working Pride weekend in 2019 at a city centre bar called Eden. From the very beginning, we knew we’d found something truly special. In August 2024 we finally tied the knot! and now we’re ready to take the next step-starting a family of our own.

For many same-sex couples, becoming parents isn’t straightforward, and for us IVF is the best way to welcome a healthy little one into our lives.

The journey ahead is far from simple-emotionally, physically, and financially. Hannah is also working incredibly hard on her personal health goals, including lowering her BMI so she can begin treatment. We’re now so very close, and so proud of her progress.

Thanks to our savings and the generous wedding gifts we received, we’ve been able to make a strong start. However, the full cost of IVF-including consultations, scans, and treatment-is still beyond what we can cover alone, and because of Ash’s now age (42), we want to get started as soon as we possibly can.

We’re reaching out to ask for help in raising the final £1,800 we need to begin this first step toward parenthood.
