Hank's Helpers
Donation protected
I have a quick story to share with you. My dear neighbors and cousin, Tim and Emily Farkas, celebrated the birth of their second child and first son, Henry “Hank” Farkas on April 19, 2018. A few short months after birth, Hank was diagnosed with SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a genetic neuromuscular disease characterized by muscle atrophy and weakness. Please visit the SMA Foundation website to learn more about the disease (http://www.smafoundation.org)
Emily quickly resigned from her position as a Physician Assistant to stay at home with her daughter, Grace and son, Hank. Tim works extra hours as a Pennsylvania State Trooper to help support his precious family. With the holiday season here, and many people looking to donate, time, food, clothes or money, I ask that you consider helping the Farkas family, so they can rest a little easier knowing they have the extra support to spend more time with Hank, rather than worrying about expenses and bills.
