Friends of Hank Dietle’s Tavern, 2026 Spring Fundraiser! Following a devastating fire, our intimate live music venue in Rockville, MD has been open for almost five years. We tailor our programming to both listening and dancing and we are delighted our dance community at Dietle’s has flourished, however at the same time our floor is wearing out! We know our space is important to our customers, friends, musicians - the entire community. It has become, as a friend put it, the clubhouse we all needed. We are appealing to you to help us keep the space fresh, hip and fun! While it looks as though business is great because our attendance has increased, the operating costs also have increased and still outweigh the profits. We operate on a skeleton crew with many dedicated volunteers. We rely on selling enough beer and wine and the small percentage of profits from cover charges to pay for the expenses including maintenance on the 100+ year old building.
