Hanika, Rwanda Bridge Build 2022

In November, 10 volunteers from WSP, USA including myself will report to Rwanda to assist local leaders along with the non profit organization Bridges to Prosperity in the completion of a new suspension foot bridge over the Kirigi river in Hanika, Rwanda.

During the rainy season life can be cruel and especially dangerous for the local communities and often halt anyone from crossing the river, cutting of resources to the surrounding communities. The new bridge will be essential to provide year round access for local communities to markets, schools, medical facilities and other resources critical to daily life activities.

I am grateful to my family for their prayers, patience, and support allowing me the opportunity to participate in this once in a lifetime project. This journey will allow me to experience first hand how my work can affect and benefit communities.

Any of your donations will be used solely to assist the team and myself with the completion of this critical piece infrastructure.
