Hi there. For my 50th birthday this year I would like any donations sent to help Hand Up SB. Hand Up is a new non profit organization just started with founding board members Donette Beall, Yvette Baza, Beverly Jacobson Shuler and Scott Snowbarger to assist in organizing food donation distribution to indigent individuals, both male and female, many of which will reside in but not limited to half way houses.

Recently, the food bank of Santa Barbara has changed its distribution policies and as of Nov 1 will greatly decrease small organizations from getting donated or discounted food. So Hand Up SB will be able to advocate for small grass roots organizations, that do not have a human resources departments; through group efforts as a team of volunteers instead of the burden of work being allocated to one individual. This will feed more people and open up other opportunities for volunteer based services. No one is paid or receives compensation.

Hand Up SB is brand new. It's 501c3 filing has been sent to the secretary of state and is awaiting its Ein #. This go fund account will remain intact until 501c3 is in play and can be attached to tax id#. So with that please help us get this going. Any small donation is appreciated. Thank you!
