Asalamualaykum,

Over a year has passed since our beloved brother Hamza Wahid (aged 28) tragically returned to his Lord in June 2024.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raaji'oon – Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.

As his friends, we are launching this campaign to honour his memory by setting up a Sadaqah Jaariyah (ongoing charity) in his name — by providing clean water to those in need.

How Will the Funds Be Used?

We will be donating the funds to the UK-based charity MySadaqah, which runs clean water projects in countries like Pakistan.

Depending on how much is raised:

If more is raised, we will build as many pumps and wells as possible, bringing life-saving water to those in need.

Any remaining funds that are not enough to build another pump or well will be donated to emergency relief efforts through MATW (Ali Banat’s charity, may Allah have mercy on him).
