Hamsterley Trailblazers Barnard Castle BMX equipment loss

We are grateful for any donations you can make towards new kit to replace our equipment which was unfortunately recently stolen.

On 6 February 2025 Hamsterley Trailblazers' storage facility was broken into and gardening equipment and cash was stolen. This vital equipment is used to keep the track at the TCR Hub in Barnard Castle in good condition for its use as a BMX racing track for youth groups who attend throughout the week.

The Trailblazers' coaches volunteer their time for this fantastic group, which gives so much to the local community and supports children to grow in their skills and confidence in cycling. Parents, carers and coaches all pitch in with their time and resources to keep the track in good condition.

Low cost subscriptions are paid to the charity by the carers of those attending coaching, but unfortunately they won't cover the cost of replacing the gardening equipment lost.

We'd really appreciate your help in keeping this wonderful community group going.
