Hamilton's Harvey Rescue Fund

As you may or may not already know, our daughter, Kristen who lives in Houston, TX, and her family have lost their home, all of its contents, and vehicles to Hurricane Harvey.  They now have the tedious job of repairing their home, replacing their belongings and just trying to put their lives back together.  

Everything must replaced; furniture, clothes, shoes, vehicles, bedding, dishes, appliances, baby toys, diapers, the list goes on and on.  They safely arrived at our house after 4 nights and 3 days of trying to survive in flooded houses with no electricity.  They brought with them the only belongings they could save which all fit into 2 garbage bags.  The bags were only filled with a few changes of clothes for each person, diapers, and baby food.  

Since escaping from their home, they have received reports from their neighbors that their cars are completely submerged.   The water line has continued to increase by feet, this means they could have 8 - 9 feet at this time.   Because of how high the water is, they have been unable to gain access to their home to save anything sentimental.  

They have registered their claim through FEMA but we know it will not replace everything.  Anything you can give will help ease their financial burden during this devastating loss.  Thank you.
