Our Adoption Journey
Donation protected
We are adopting! To say this feels surreal typing this would be an understatement.
Adoption has stirred in our hearts from the beginning of our marriage. It is a seed that was planted over and over again as God worked in us on what growing our family would look like.
We are a family made stronger through our pregnancy losses. And although this is part of our story it is not our whole story. We are so blessed with our beautiful son Graham and the new perspective he has given us on life and what it is to love. LOVE makes a family and we cannot wait to love on this baby.
We feel its important to share that coming here for help has been a very weighted conversation. Asking for help especially financial does not come easy nor do we take lightly. But the reality is that adoption is expensive. An average of 40-50K.
We also feel its important to share that part of these costs go to pre and post placement for the birth mom. We don't know what we don't know and as we have educated ourselves and dove head first into this community of adoption our priority is being ethical in our approach and resources that we give to these birth mothers as they navigate and deal with what life looks both pre and post baby placement.
The support of our community means SO much to us not just financially but emotionally and prayerfully.
From the bottom of our hearts thank you!
