Myself (Barry O’Sullivan) and Christopher Lyons set out to run our first half marathon just as a personal goal as we began to take running a little more serious. It’s the Donegal half marathon 24th August 2025.

It was then suggested we should fundraise for local causes. Given that we are very lucky to be in a position to have opportunities like this and some who are less fortunate would only love the chance we thought why not add this to the challenge and see what we can do/raise.

We just want to say thanks to those who recommended local causes and charities. We hadn’t expected to even do the run, for anything other than a personal challenge.

However, now after some of these Fermanagh/Tyrone charities were highlighted with us and we see the vital work they are doing/done we are actually really motivated to help give some support.

It was difficult to choose which, given the incredible work they do so…………….f&£k it we will do them all

These funds raised by this will go directly split to the below. Along with the other fundraising activities we will also put on.
