Hello, I’m Joshua, and on February 22nd, 2026, I’ll be running my very first half marathon — the Dartford Half Marathon — in memory of my amazing mum, who we lost to suicide on June 9th, 2024.
This isn’t just a run for me. It’s personal, it’s painful, and it’s something I never imagined I’d be doing. But I’m doing it for her — and for everyone who’s ever been affected by suicide.
I’m raising money for SOBS (Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide) — a charity that supports people like me, who are trying to navigate unimaginable loss. Their work is life-saving, and they deserve every bit of support we can give them.
As a type 1 diabetic, this challenge will push me both physically and emotionally — but I’m determined to see it through.
If you can donate, even a little, it would mean the world. And if you can’t, sharing this helps just as much.
Thank you for helping me honour my mum and support others walking a similar path.
