Hi! I’m Amelia and I will be running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in September with my brother in memory of my beautiful mummy. We sadly lost our mum very recently to a long, difficult battle with thyroid cancer. This is why we have chosen to raise money for the butterfly thyroid cancer trust

Thyroid cancer isn’t always talked about as much as other cancers, but it can be incredibly aggressive and life-changing. The Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust provides vital support, information, and reassurance to patients and families facing this diagnosis, as well as funding research and raising awareness. Supporting them means helping other families who are going through what we have❤️

Anybody who knows me knows I’m not a runner in the slightest, so this will be a huge, difficult challenge for me but I know nothing compares to what my mum had to go through for many years ❤️‍

We are doing this for her - to honour her strength, resilience, her love and the incredible mummy she was❤️
