Hii!
Almost 5 years ago now I lost my auntie Tracy to cancer, she was cared for by the amazing team at the Hospice in the Weald, and as for that I want to help fundraise money to help families in same the position.
As for that on the 7th of June 2026 my friends and I are running the Leeds Half Marathon – each of us running to support charities close to our hearts! I’ve chosen to run for the Hospice in the Weald as they delivered the most incredible care for my aunt and I’d like to carry on her memory and help raise money back to the incredible charity to support others facing the most challenging times.
My aunt was the most loving thoughtful person, and I can’t wait to run this half marathon in her honour, whilst also supporting the hospice that gave her and my family so much care and comfort in her final moments.
Running this half marathon with my best friends is so exciting and we are so ready to train together and keep each other motivated throughout the process.
If you are able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be so grateful. The money I raise will help many others in similar situations, honour my aunt and encourage me to keep going.
If you cannot donate, sharing this still means the world to me.
Thank you for reading this and supporting me throughout. I am so excited to do this run and bring awareness to such a fantastic charity.
With love,
Ella xx
