Support Rathdrum Community First Responders
On the 30th of March 2025, I’ll be running in the Dundalk Half Marathon to raise vital funds for Rathdrum Community First Responders (CFR).
Established in 2018, Rathdrum CFR currently has seven dedicated responders who are dispatched by the National Ambulance Service to 999 calls for life-threatening emergencies. These volunteers play a critical role in saving lives in our community, often being the first on the scene before an ambulance arrives.
The group relies entirely on the generosity of the community for funding. Currently, there are 13 Public Access Defibrillators (PADs) in the Rathdrum area, which require regular maintenance, including replacing used or out-of-date pads and batteries. Maintaining these life-saving devices is crucial, and with your support, they also hope to increase the number of PADs in our locality, ensuring wider coverage and faster access in emergencies.
I’m asking for your help to support this incredible cause. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward maintaining and expanding this vital service. Let’s come together to ensure our community has the resources it needs to save lives.
