On 4 October 2025 Andrea, Jill and Michelle will be running the Galway Half Marathon and raising funds, with a starting goal of $3000, for Hospice Georgian Triangle - Campbell House.

Campbell House is a place where people living with life limiting illnesses are treated with dignity and where families are embraced with kindness, comfort and understanding. All three of us have all seen firsthand how much the care at Campbell House meant for people that we love so we are raising money to ensure others can experience the same kind of care when they need it most.

Why Hospice Care Matters

In Canada, hospice care comes at no cost to patients or their families. But that care isn't free - it's made possible through a combination of government funding, generous donations, and the dedication of nurses, personal support workers, and volunteers.

The work of hospices like Campbell House extends far beyond end-of-life care. Hospices exist to support families, friends, and the broader community - offering grief counselling, respite support, and comfort services that touch countless lives. Every act of care is rooted in dignity, respect and compassion, putting the needs of palliative patients and their loved ones first.

Our Goal

We are running 21.1km - a half marathon - in honour of Lorne Raymond and Martin (Marty) Edge, and we've set a goal of $3,000 to donate to Campbell House in their honour.
