Back in July 2015 my life changed forever. I was rushed to hospital where I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. My mum was my rock and helped me get this diagnosis after the GP had no clue what was wrong with me. 10 years later I am still here learning all the new things that come with being diabetic. I am running this half marathon to prove to myself and others that diabetes does not define you. Any donation is welcome to this charity to help with research so that in years to come being a diabetic will become easier for kids and a cure can hopefully be found.
