Haley's campaign for Long Island Cares, Inc.

Want to join me in making a difference? For my Bat Mitzvah project I have chosen to raise money for Long Island Cares,  The Harry Chapin Food Bank. For as long as I can remember we have collected and donated food to those who were less fortunate.  Last Thanksgiving my family and I had the opportunity to volunteer in the Long Island Cares warehouse. We helped sort all the collected food that was then delivered to many people on Long Island that do not have enough to eat.  Before this experience I never realized how lucky we were to always have food on the table and not worry about where our next meal was coming from. I want to help make a difference to those who are struggling. I'm raising money to benefit Long Island Cares, Inc., and any donation will help make an impact for those right here on Long Island. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

More information about Long Island Cares, Inc.: Long Island Cares is the regional food bank for Long Island providing emergency food and a wide variety of direct service programs across Nassau and Suffolk counties. We distribute approximately 7 million pounds of food annually the equivalent of over 6 million meals.
