Hi there everyone

As many know, Mark lives with Alzheimer's and has done for a number of years now. It has long been Janice's goal to shave her hair to raise funds to support those living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, and Mark has decided to join in the fun.

Here in Albany we are blessed to

have the wonderful Hawthorn House, which provides support on all levels to people living with dementia, and their loved ones. It is a world class facility and we are so fortunate to have it on our doorstep.

In order to allow Hawthorn House to continue to provide enriching and engaging programs in a warm and welcoming environment, Mark and I are shaving our hair at the Hawthorn House fete on 29 November at 11am.

We are hoping that there are people out there who would be happy to make a donation in exchange for us removing our hair. We are also happy for people to provide support by watching the shave.

The shave is being completed in memory of the late Lyn Braimbridge, or Nanna Lyn, as she was affectionately known by so many. Lyn was a gorgeous person who provided support to our family when we needed it. She raised a strong and loving family and made valuable contributions to many Albany organisations, including Hawthorn House. Her daughter Lorraine will be one of the shavers.

Thanks in anticipation of your support.
