Hair for a Cause: Supporting HPV Global Action
August 21st UPDATE: When I posted this campaign a few months ago, I was supposed to get the hair system install that day. But my hair wasn't long enough to blend properly, so I had to wait three months. But tomorrow is the big day!
I have some exciting news to share! After being bald for most of my life, I'm getting a hair procedure today. Before I unveil my new look publicly, I want to turn this moment into an opportunity to support a cause close to my heart: HPV Global Action.
HPV Global Action provides comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education through various programs for all ages. They have recently faced challenges, particularly in New Brunswick, where their presentations were unjustly criticized and banned from schools. Despite this, their work remains crucial in educating and empowering young people.
To support HPV Global Action, I’m aiming to raise $500, which will fund one school presentation. Every dollar counts and will make a difference in ensuring students receive essential health education.
I won't be posting any photos of my new look until we raise $500. Want to join me in making a difference? Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about HPV Global Action: We raise awareness of sex-positive, inclusive sexual and reproductive health through the implementation of comprehensive education programs, while emphasizing HPV and its potential consequences. We empower culturally and ideologically diverse youth, families, and communities across the globe through the dissemination of critical, evidence-based knowledge.
