Hair Donation for Childhood Cancer Awareness
Hey everyone,
Despite loving my luscious locks which I've grown over the last 2 1/2 years, it's time for me to put them to better use. My plan is to donate my hair as a wig for a child in need, and hopefully raise some funds for a great cause.
As September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm raising money to benefit Oscar’s Kids Ireland. This incredible organisation supports children and families suffering with pediatric cancer.
Over the last year, I've seen the most beautiful family go through the heartbreak and tragedy of childhood cancer. However, I've also seen the incredible strength, resiliency and character of a little girl who was always her amazing self despite her illness.
A sick child should be able to feel like themselves despite the circumstances they face. I'd love to think that donating my hair will give a kid in need one less thing to worry about.
Please join me in supporting this fantastic charity, and do your part during Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
Thanks,
Malo/Michael
