Help me bring hope and skills to Cambodia with Hair Aid international.

This July, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Cambodia for my 3rd International project with Hair Aid, an organisation dedicated to changing lives through the power of hairdressing. I will be volunteering my time and skills to teach people in poverty how to cut hair- giving them the ability

to earn an income , support their families and build a better future.

For many in Cambodia, job opportunities are scarce, and the ability to provide even basic necessities can be a daily struggle. By learning a skill like hairdressing, individuals, especially women, can start their own micro businesses, breaking the cycle of poverty.

The funds you are donating are going to be used towards purchasing resources for our participants which includes, brand new scissors kits which we gift them upon graduation. These Kits contain one straight pair of hairdressing scissors, one pair of thinning scissors, a cutting comb, 2 clips, a cutting cape and a zippered pouch to keep the scissors in. We also purchase basic essentials that we gift to the local community that we are stationed, this includes toys for young children, colouring in books, coloured pencils, chalk, soccer balls, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, panadol and many other simple life basic that we take for granted. Every donation, no matter how small, will help me reach Cambodia and make a real impact.
