Haileys future

Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I have started this fundraiser for Nick and I’s daughter, Hailey. Hailey is 2, and has tragically lost her father a few weeks ago. We had Hailey in may of 2021, and got engaged a few months later in September. Nick was an amazing father, who she absolutely adored. Nicks DREAM was to be a law enforcement officer. Since he was a small boy. He was the kinda guy who was meant for it too. There is truly something special about a person who aspires to become a first responder. That was him, special. He was always whiling to help whoever it was with anything they needed. When he started his journey with the Nation Park Service everything started to fall into place for him. He was given an amazing opportunity to turn his dreams into a reality, and be a park ranger. Nick loved to be outside. He loved to go fishing, he’d love taking Hailey on walks, he enjoyed riding four wheelers and couldn’t get enough of how free he felt on his motorcycle. Nick has worked in prince William Forrest park for about 4 years. He was so proud to call the park the place he worked, and he may have loved the people who worked there even more. Unfortunately, nick and I never had the chance to get married. This has made a lot of things in his passing more complicated. We owned a home together, that we bought in august of 2021. A home that doesn’t feel so much like home anymore. It does bring me peace knowing this is where we began our family, our life. A place filled with memories I cling to, Hailey clings to. This is obviously not how I planned to spend the rest of our lives. I am now solely responsible for Hailey, for our house, and for our future. The park service has been so helpful, kind, and supporting in this entire situation. Hailey and I couldn’t be more grateful for the outpouring of love we have received thus far. Our hearts are full knowing we have such a big park service family. If you would like to donate, this will be put into a savings for Hailey, for when she is older.
