HaesCooper walk for The Weald Family Hub

In support of our charity of the year, the Weald Family Hub, the HaesCooper team will be completing an epic 25-mile hike on 9th November 2023 visiting 10 of the primary schools supported by this amazing charity, in order to raise awareness and vital funds for them.
The Weald Family Hub offers professional mental health support to children, young people and families in the area making it available, accessible and affordable to as many people in the Weald as it can. It offers subsidised professional mental health counselling places to local primary and secondary schools and many are schools that our own children attend which makes it a cause close to our hearts.
1 in 6 children were reported to have a probable mental health disorder last year. The impact of the pandemic has taken a heavy toll on many children and families and it is likely that the underlying mental health problems will remain significantly higher as a result making the work of this small, grassroots charity more critical than ever. Early help and access to support when it is first needed can be life changing for anyone, young or old, suffering from mental health challenges.
