Help Finalize Haar Adoption

Hi, we are the Haar’s! My name is Alisha and my husbands name is Jeremiah we have been married for almost 13 years. We have three biological boys together Calvin (10), Colby (7) and Cooper (3). We are in the process of adopting our fourth son Camden (5).

Update: May 1, 2024

Our family is officially going to be complete within the next couple of months! We are in the final stages of our adoption process. This has been one heck of a journey that started back in July of 2019. When I originally started this Go Fund Me, I could have never imagined being here!

Over the last three years we have been to court, mediation, visitations, and finally in October of 2023 we had our three-day jury trial. After three days of jury selection, witnesses and testimonies, the jury came to the conclusion that it was in Camden's best interest to move forward with adoption. We are so blessed to get to raise this little dude alongside his brothers.

Unfortunately, with all of this came some hefty bills.

For example:

Attorney/Amicus Fees for 3 Day Trial: $36,000

Subpoena Doctor Witness: $2,000

Adoption Fees: $4,000 (home study, background check, fingerprinting, etc.)

Prior to our trial we were blessed enough to be paid in full and had a zero balance. This was only accomplished with the help of everyone who gave financially, bought a t-shirt in our fundraiser, and prayed blessings over our situation. Without all of you and our hard work that would not have been possible. Unfortunately, we are still not done. Despite us paying monthly to chip away at our grad total $37,000 we are still in debt of $22,000 and need to pay half of that $11,000 before we can finalize our adoption. This is where you come in if you feel inclined to help us reach our goal, we would be forever grateful. Our family knows that God is in control, and He has been the entire time. We remain faithful that this will be the explanation mark to the story He has been writing these past five years. Thank you for your support and prayers!
