H.A. Terry City Park in Crescent, Iowa, has always been a special place for our community. As we approach the 250th American Celebration, we are planning a park dedication to honor the history and future of this cherished space. To make this event truly memorable, we are raising funds to create new signs for the park. One sign will proudly display the park’s name, making it easy for visitors to find and enjoy. The other will be an information board that shares the rich history of the park and the area, helping everyone appreciate the legacy and significance of this land.
This project is especially meaningful to me because my great great grandfather donated the land for this park to the city of Crescent, with the hope that it would serve the youth and families of our community for generations. By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping us honor that vision and ensure the park remains a welcoming place for all. We invite everyone in Crescent and the surrounding communities to join us for the celebration on September 12th, 2026, and to be part of preserving our local history. Your support will make a lasting difference, and we are deeply grateful for any contribution you can make.
