Hi everyone. You may be aware there is a proposal expected to go to planning application in the autumn to build 75+ houses on the field just off the Brington Road, Long Buckby. This is open countryside outside of the village confines and is normally used for pastureland by a local cattle farmer.

In order to give us the best chance to fight this off we will need funds for professionals to act on our behalf to object in the strongest way possible, and to promote our cause.

I hope to fund flyers, and hopefully the representation of a local planning consultant. At the end of the planning process, any funds left over will be donated to charity (to be decided by the consensus of the Action Group who will oversee all spending).

Please support this cause and help retain our countryside before new houses are built all over it!!
