Our Dad needs help getting into a care facility
Donation protected
His name is Ty, and his stubborn resilience has astonished all his doctors. He has had a series of unfortunate medical events that have taken his health down beyond where we can continue to provide sufficient in-home care. Initially, after surviving a 3-day coma, he lost most of the feeling in his legs due to a condition known as Guillon-Beret syndrome. We have worked together to care for him, but his needs are beyond our family's ability, with frequent seizures accompanied by dangerous falls and memory loss.
We ask for financial donations to cover the additional amount needed to transition him into a care facility next month. We are doing everything we can and need a little extra to cover the total cost. We thought it miraculous when we found an unusually affordable place in his eldest son's neighborhood in Tacoma, WA. Being here would make it possible for him to have a loving family nearby and a place to support his increasing needs as they arise.
With Enormous Gratitude,
