Help Destiny & Jonny Reunite with Haylee ❤️

We have all hoped and prayed for a solution, but after 7 months of Haylee being taken from her loving home of 2 years without probable cause, it has come to the Conclusion that it’s time to take this a heartbreaking situation to court for sibling rights.

As most of you know, Haylee has been under her sister Destiny’s wing since she was born. Destiny even had to drop out of high school to help raise her sister and has been a CONSTANT caregiver for Haylee’s ENTIRE life. Yet, unfortunately Destiny does not hold any rights, or guardianship even though she has played such a big role in raising her sister Haylee.

For the last 2 years, Destiny and her husband Jonny took on the sole responsibility of raising Haylee. They went above and beyond to make sure Haylee’s needs were met. Haylee was thriving in every area of her life while under the care of Dez and Jonny. Most importantly, they became a beautiful, loving, supportive, and nurturing family!

Then after 2 years, they claimed Haylee on their taxes, which by law they have every right to do since Haylee was living with them and was their dependent. That’s it! You would think they did something horrible to be completely banned from Haylee’s life, but NO, all they did was claim Haylee on their taxes, which again by law they have every right to do.

When Haylee’s mom found that out, she was furious because now she would not be able to deceive the system by claiming Haylee on her taxes. That day, Haylee was abruptly removed from her loving and nurturing home of two years without ANY justification or notice!

Haylee has Down syndrome and thrives on routine, stability, positivity, and her special relationships are so deeply important to her.

For any child to be taken from their stable, loving home and routine without justification and given zero contact is wrong on so many levels, but ESPECIALLY emotionally abusive for an individual with an intellectual disability.

Haylee's disability and needs were disregarded

when she was ripped from her nurturing environment in an act of revenge. Haylee’s beautiful life was ripped away from her in an instant and to this day is being denied her right to have a relationship with her sister and Jonny.

Think how you would feel being abruptly taken from the life you lived for two years then given no contact with the people you love. Haylee has been completely cut off from ANY contact with Destiny and Jonny, and many others.

In addition to Destiny and Jonny being denied ANY contact with Haylee, ANYONE who stood up and said this was wrong or who was believed to think it was wrong was also banned from Haylee’s life.

Life is too short for this kind of behavior that breaks families apart. Court is a POSITIVE stepping stone to mediation that can help RESTORE family bonds for ALL involved. ❤️We all make mistakes in life, but we can learn from them and make better choices for a brighter future. ☀️

The last time we talked to Haylee, she said she had to sneak her phone to call. Haylee told us she wanted to go home with her sister Destiny and Jonny! She said she was nervous and missed her sister and Jonny. That was the last time we got to talk to her because her phone number got turned off.

Haylee deserves the right to be treated with dignity and respect. She deserves the right to have everyone she loves in her life. She deserves the right to be treated like the 16-year-old young woman that she is! Her voice matters. ❤️

The abundance of LOVE & SUPPORT that surrounded Haylee while in the care of Destiny & Jonny was beyond beautiful to watch. They took on the parent role and took that very seriously because they wanted the very best for Haylee! They poured into Haylee's life and because of them Haylee was THRIVING in ALL areas of her life! Destiny & Jonny advocated for Haylee to be included in school and to be on the cheer squad and so much more. Haylee was excelling in school, cheer, and in life! She went from being considered obese to a healthy weight and felt so good! She was GLOWING with happiness, always smiling & laughing! Haylee was SO proud of her beautiful room and felt so comfortable and loved! She shined with pride feeling part of the beautiful family they created. Now because of this cruel injustice their family has been torn apart.

We've all been aware of this situation for a while now and all of our hearts are hurting feeling so helpless. So, we started this GoFundMe to help Destiny and Jonny open up a court case for SIBLING RIGHTS. Going to court will be a step in a POSITIVE direction where a judge can help determine if Destiny & Jonny can continue with their healthy and positive relationship with Haylee and determine how moving forward will look for all involved. That's a wonderful thing!
