My name is L. Jay Baker and I am a U.S. citizen and a Vietnam Veteran. For most of my life, I have sacrificed my body and soul for the good of this Country. I have traveled throughout the USA, feeding the homeless and fighting with the government to do more for the ones who cannot provide for their families, and their friends living on the streets. Now my mission is to help generations of left-behind children with American blood, ( children known also as Amerasian children ) and assist their families as well.
MY NEW CRUSADE is a BIG ONE and I need YOUR HELP!
I AM TRAVELING TO THE PHILIPPINES ON JANUARY 7th 2024, to assist these AMERASIAN children financially and with WHATEVER ELSE I CAN DO FOR THEM DURING MY VISIT THERE FOR THE NEXT TWO MONTHS!
Please allow me to EXPRESS the IMPORTANCE of my VISIT and -WHY- I CARE SO MUCH for this CAUSE:
Over fifty years ago my generation was at War in Vietnam, during the time 1955-75, the USA was asked to assist S.Vietnam to stop the communist party. FREEDOM IS A POWERFUL WORD and always comes with a heavy price, especially for the families I am now helping establish a meaningful life in the Philippines.
The US Military base was spread out between 5 Countries in that region: Vietnam, Cambodia, Korea, Laos, and the Philippines. During our stay in these Countries, the military personnel fathered thousands of half-American children, they were born in the 20 years of that war. The war ended and many of the soldiers did not stay nor claimed their children or chose to support them in any way. Four of these Countries were given some type of restitution from the Federal Government or the Government of that Country. The Philippines had several thousand children claimed and transferred to the USA, but there were still thousands more American-blooded children left behind!
NO ONE HAS BEEN THERE TO SUPPORT OUR AMERICAN CHILDREN FOR THE PAST 50 YEARS! They have not been able to afford schooling and if so, they were abused by the other children for looking different. The abuse is intergenerational and continues today. I will be 70 years old this November 2023 and it is time WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES go over to the Philippines and claim our families and take them out of poverty. AS A HANDYMAN for 50 years I can go anywhere in the World and build a small City; I would do that in the Philippines if I were allowed by the Philippine Government. Though this wish is a high aspiration and long-term, my desire still is to provide these Amerasian children with as much assistance as possible: including food, medical care, and shelter during my visit, and continue to do so when I return back to the USA.

OVER THE YEARS the JayAngelsCharity.org website has assisted these Amerasian children; it has bought for them used buildings ( homes ) for around $500 in the Philippines; it has set them up with water, electricity, a new roof, plus helped them start businesses too.
$1.00 buys a meal for a single mother and 3 children for the day.
$30.00 can buy food for an American Asian family for 1 month in the Philippines.
