Hi everyone,
My name is Yung Saber, and I’m an artist and community advocate from South East London.
Over the past decade, I’ve been involved in various community givebacks — from feeding the homeless to supporting local families in need — and now, through The Yung Saber Foundation, I’m focusing our next mission on something deeply personal and urgent:
Supporting the people of Jamaica affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Who I Am
I’m a UK-based recording artist with Jamaican roots and a strong commitment to giving back — both at home and abroad.
Through The Yung Saber Foundation, I’ve worked on local outreach programmes providing food, essentials, and youth mentorship in South East London. But today, I’m calling on our wider community to help those in crisis in the Caribbean.
Where We’re Based
The Yung Saber Foundation operates from South East London, UK, but our reach extends to Jamaica, where Hurricane Melissa has left families displaced, homes destroyed, and communities without access to food, clean water, and essential resources.
We are focusing our immediate relief efforts in the parishes of Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth — two of the hardest-hit regions.
❤️ What We’re Raising Funds For
We are raising £5,000 to deliver emergency relief and recovery support to families and individuals affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
All funds raised will go directly towards the purchase and delivery of:
Food Supplies – Rice, tinned goods, and basic groceries for affected families.
Clean Water & Hygiene Kits – Bottled water, soap, toothpaste, feminine care products, and disinfectant.
️ Shelter Support – Blankets, clothing, and materials to help rebuild or temporarily house families.
Medical & First Aid Items – Bandages, antiseptic, and essential health supplies for local clinics.
We will be working with trusted local partners and community leaders on the ground to ensure that all donations reach those most in need quickly and efficiently.
How the Funds Will Be Used
Transparency and trust are everything. Every penny raised will go directly to relief efforts — no administration fees, no overheads.
Here’s the breakdown of how funds will be allocated:
Use of FundsEstimated
Allocation
Food & clean water distribution - £2,000
Hygiene packs & essential supplies - £1,000
Shelter support & materials - £1,000
Medical & first aid assistance - £500
Logistics, packaging & local delivery -£500
All funds will be used exactly as stated above. Updates, photos, and receipts will be shared publicly to show the real impact of every donation.
✨ Why This Matters
Many families in Jamaica have lost everything — their homes, food, and access to clean water.
This appeal is about coming together as a community to bring hope and relief to those who need it most.
The Yung Saber Foundation is committed to standing with our people in their time of need and ensuring that support reaches them directly — with dignity and compassion.
