CHARLEY'S ANGELS

Hi, my name is Michelle Zunno, and I am starting a page for Charley Santiago, who is 2 years old and currently battling ALL. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a blood cancer that requires treatment with chemotherapy agents AND is very expensive. Charley's mom is a registered nurse who currently works on the adult oncology unit at Naples Community Hospital. I had the pleasure of meeting Sasha 2 years ago while giving report on a patient. I had not seen Sasha for quite a while on the unit, and then last week, there she was and little did I know the reason for her absence. As if having your child sick wasn't enough, Sasha's debt is overwhelming, and I knew I had to do something to help. I listened to Sasha tell me about the trials and tribulations and having to sell personal items to pay for necessities and thought, who would not want to help Sasha and her daughter Charley? Sasha is currently in debt for 70,000 dollars, and I would like to help her. Can I ask everyone who reads this to assist in this journey? I want to give back to a registered nurse who gives so much of herself to care for strangers. Any amount will help immensely and the good news..... Charley will likely be saved by receiving chemotherapy and will go into remission so that Sasha can see her little girl grow up.
