Hi, my name is Lester and I am raising funds for my son Hunta.

I am a single dad, and Hunta has lived with me since he was three.

He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 16 months old. It's a been long hard struggle. The low blood glucose episodes resulting in collapsing, temporary blindness and high blood glucose episodes, are potentially life-threatening and concerning future complications.

The support from the NHS has been fantastic. However, there are limits to what they can provide.

As any parent would want, the best possible support for their child, I want to raise some cash for

State-of-the-art blood glucose monitor in the form of a smartwatch, no more finger pricks, alarms to notify of hypos and hypers

Mobile refrigeration and specialised insulin storage gadgets so I can take him on holiday

Apart from the medical, he has a musical talent i.e. drumming. He could do with some drums and some more lessons too.

These are just some of the things he could benefit from.
