A powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake rocked many cities in southeast Turkey and northern Syria early Monday and the disaster repeated itself once again a few hours later. As a result, hundreds of buildings collapsed and more than 32,000 people were killed. Unfortunately, this number is expected to increase dramatically as time pass. There are thousands of people injured and hundreds still believed to be trapped under rubble. The damage is expected to rise as rescue workers search mounds of wreckage in cities and towns across the area. Many national and international organizations are trying to reach the effected areas and help people as soon as possible. But many main roads have also collapsed, which make it impossible to get to certain small neighborhoods. Since they lost everything, I thought of starting fundraising for charites and organizations in neighborhood to help them with food, clothings, shoes, etc. The donations will directly be forwarded to them in Antep, Turkey. Every penny will be appreciated. Thank you for your support.
