Covid-19 Crisis in India:
There have been at least 19.9M confirmed cases of COVID in India, according to the Ministry of Health and Welfare. There are over 300,000 new single-day cases, the highest tally in the world since the pandemic began, and 2,000+ recorded deaths per day. This is crippling India's healthcare infrastructure. There is a huge lack of life-saving equipment like oxygen cylinders and concentrators, ventilators and Bipaps. 100% of funds will be donated to GiveIndia's campaign to provide oxygen to patients all over India.

How does my donation help save a life?
1. By setting up oxygen generation plants in hospitals/COVID facility compounds in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Patna. A 5,000-litre capacity plant costs $812K and can support 650 people per day.
2. By providing oxygen concentrators which use oxygen from the air and convert it to medical grade oxygen. A patient in need of a concentrator needs to be on it for 5-7 days. One oxygen concentrator costs $745.
3. By providing oxygen cylinders that help a person in need of oxygen support for 5-7 days. The B-type (1,500L) oxygen cylinder costs $203 while the D-type (6,000L) costs $338
4. Refilling A B-type cylinder costs $10.84/refill and D-type costs $33.87/refill.
