Christmas Crunch
Donation protected
Our names are Kristina, Tobias, Vera and Shadow and I’m fundraising for all of us.
Christmas has caught us in a tight spot, kiddo is only getting one gift from me because Santa doesn’t exist in our house anymore, Autism makes my son (17) look at everything in a realistic way with negative spins on everything.
I usually ALWAYS have all of my bills covered by myself independently.
I receive only SSI and SSDI for my disability from my multiple sclerosis that I struggle with on a daily basis.
I’m currently attending classes at the Santa Fe Community College pursuing either a degree in early childhood education or the arts because I enjoy both, but someone suggested that if I’d like to do both, there’s always a need for art teachers no matter how young or little, kids love art too❣️
That being said, I think this is the last year with my son in the home as he turns 18 next summer with great plans far away & in the great beyond.
I could only afford one gift for him this year that he REALLY wanted, the ONLY one he wanted this year but it through my calculations for sustainability into slightly turmoil.
I receive my S.N.A.P. (foodstamps) on the 14th of December (day before my birthday) which I’ve been blessed with, but that doesn’t utility/gas bills, phone bills, stocking stuffers for pets or wet food to go with the dry food I already have for my fur baby Vera. I adopted her from the Santa Fe animal shelter but didn’t bother to look at her teeth before I adopted her, but I still love her anyway..
She was very shy towards anybody not female but is starting to come around and become the lovable playful dog. She should be but because of how bad her teeth are from whatever home she came from she cannot eat dry food by itself, she is unable, she can only eat the dry food I have for her when I mix it with wet food. I tried to make some of the meat leftover from Thanksgiving with gravy heated up and poured over that and the dry food, but she ended up throwing it up in my living room chair so I don’t think that’s a good idea to keep doing that.
So my son gets his 1 gift from me but that’s it.
I have dry food for my son’s feline fur baby, Shadow,
I have dry food for my fur baby Vera (which she has difficulty eating without wet food)
And . . . .
My public Housing rent is fully paid but
NOT my PNM and New Mexico Gas company bills,
(they are on a budget assistance program so they’re only like around $50 a month each.)
Anything you could possibly spare would greatly help us and be a blessing to me and my family, the (the human and the fur babies)❣️
Thank you so, So, SO much❣️❣️❣️
Happy Holidays❣️
Sincerely,
Krista, Tobi, Vera and Shadow . . . .
