I’m writing this message with a heart full of love and deep respect for Christina England, an extraordinary person whose courage, resilience, and love continue to inspire everyone around her.

We are hoping that Christina’s friends and family can come together to support her and rally around her as she faces a recent diagnosis of hormone-positive breast cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. The cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, and she is preparing for a challenging treatment journey that will include chemotherapy, surgery, and additional therapies over the coming months.

Christina is 31, and anyone who knows her will tell you she’s kind, thoughtful, and fiercely independent. She’s always there to offer moral support and a helping hand when she can. Asking for help isn’t something that comes easily to her, but right now, community support can make a real difference.

She is continuing to work full time for now, though she already has to take time off for appointments. As treatment progresses, she will need to take an extended leave from work. She has already incurred more than $2,000 in copays and testing that insurance does not cover, and these expenses will continue to grow as treatment moves forward.

Funds raised will help cover:

• Medical bills and copays not covered by insurance

• Lost income while she is out of work during treatment and recovery

• Wigs and other treatment-related needs

• Travel and other out-of-pocket costs associated with her care
