Help us keep our home due to unforeseen accident

Update!! We found a place a few weeks ago, thank you to gods grace. We got settled, I went back to work on wends and Friday I slipped and broke my right ankle on both sides. I had surgery last Friday. Doc stated it will be 8-12 weeks of healing plus 2 months of physical therapy. I can’t drive or put any weight on it. I can’t work. I don’t know how I am going to be able to provide for my family and keep a roof over our heads for the next few months. I am in the process of applying for temporary disability. I am really stressed out cause I don’t want to loose this roof we finally got over our heads. I have no family here. I am trying really hard to make it by.  So if you guys can find it in your hearts to donate even if it’s a dollar or a share it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much and God bless.

Hi my name is Shawna and I have two kids. We moved to Carson in 2017 when my 7 year old was 15 months. We’ve lived in the same apartments since then.  That has been our home since we moved here. I got told today that our landlord went to court on Thursday and our building isn’t up to code and everyone has till the 6th of January to move out completely. It came as a complete shock as I am a single mom here and have no family here and we have nowhere to go. This has been extremely hard on my kids especially my son who is 13 and on the spectrum. I am desperately reaching out to the community for help. I am asking please whatever you can do to help get us into a new place. Please share. And message me with any questions. Thank you again.
