Zambia, Volunteer Work 2025

Hi, my name is Chloe, and I am fundraising to join my school on a volunteer trip to Zambia! This once-in-a-lifetime experience will allow me to make a real difference in the lives of others, and I’m asking for your support to help me get there.

During my time in Zambia, along with my fellow Our Lady’s students, I will be working with local children, teaching them about our language and culture, and educating both girls and boys on women’s rights. This work is so important to me because I believe that if everyone is treated equally, the world will be a better place

The trip costs almost £3,000 and, so far, I have raised almost £1,500 from donations made during various activities that I have organised - kids discos, quizzes, movie nights and even a spin-a-thon, which I may never recover from! I am now aiming to raise funds to help cover the remaining amount for trip expenses, which includes flights, buses, accommodation and materials for our project. By contributing, you’re not only helping me fulfil a dream but also supporting the lives and futures of the people in the communities we will serve.
