Hearts TRC LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM for at risk teens

Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ provides therapeutic horseback riding and other equine assisted activities  to children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities .  Groups include special education classes, veterans, at risk teens and community groups.  Riders increase posture, balance, focus, and concentration through the use of horses.  All instructors are certified through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl).

Hearts is looking to purchase a structure that will allow year round equine assisted activities.  This eliminates regression over the winter and when weather forces Hearts to cancel lessons. Year round keeps our riders progressing with their life skills use at home, in school, and on the job!
