When I was 8 years old, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer for the first time. At 18 I watched her go through it all over again. Seeing her fight this disease twice has shown me how strong and inspiring she is but it also made me realise how many family’s go through the same journey️

this October during breast cancer awareness month, I want to do something to honour her strength, celebrate her surviving and help support family going through what we and most importantly my mum had to go through

that’s why I’m raising money by doing a cold dip every day of October for breast cancer now, a charity that helps fund research aswell as supporting those effected by breast cancer. This charity provides life changing care and support and have an aim that everyone who develops breast cancer in 2050 will survive

i thought the fundraising goal of £242 was very fitting as we have two boobs and my mum had cancer twice (and hopefully not again)
