We have some EXCITING news to share with you!
The Guttersohn family is getting ready to grow through adoption!
Several years ago, we discovered there were some fertility challenges that would likely prevent us from conceiving a child together. This was a heartbreaking discovery. We struggled with grief for quite some time, especially since we had also just experienced the death of both our moms.
We’ve come to understand that life doesn’t always let us choose the hand we’re dealt, but we do have a choice in how we respond. Working through our grief rather than running from it has brought healing to our hearts and strengthened and grown our love for each other.
As we’ve healed, we have decided to open our hearts to adoption and we want to invite you to join us on this adventure!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign to help with the costs of infant adoption.
We’ve been able to save $14,250 so far (48%) and are hoping that our family and friends can help us raise the final $15,250 needed to welcome a baby into our family.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
