For those of you who know me, you likely know that as of March 2022 I quit my job and left the United States to come to Poland and try to assist in efforts to help the Ukrainian people. Previously I worked as an investment banker in New York City, but decided to put my professional life on pause once the war started. Putin's war is total evil and must be stopped, and I believe we all must find a way to help contribute and end this senseless violence. I would implore everyone that I know to please consider how you can help as well, We are all in this together. 

I myself have committed to spending all of this year in Poland and in Ukraine where I can feel my time, effort, and money are well spent and are making a real difference. I know some people are not able to leave their lives behind like I was, so I would please ask you to consider donating to my fundraiser - no amount is too little. I will be spending 100% of funds collected supporting organizations that I have joined over the past 10 weeks as highlighted below.  

These organizations are trustworthy, transparent, and filling vital needs in assisting Ukraine. One organization: TAUSAR is focused on rescuing civilians out of dangerous areas close to the front of the active fighting. The other organization: Help Ukraine Center is focused on collecting Humanitarian Aid and organizing shipments into Ukraine. 

TAUSAR
Technical Aid Ukraine - Search and Rescue. This organization is one which I joined about 1 month ago. It is focused on pulling civilians out of "hot zones" near to frontline of the war (currently in Donbas). The organization consists of approximately 25 members. Some members who are more brave than I am work on the frontlines, finding civilians in dangerous areas and driving them to (relative) safety. The rest of the organization is focused on supplying and supporting these members. Currently the organization is saving about 100 civilians per week and operating on minimal funding. Funds will be spent on:
- Diesel and Car Repairs to support evacuations
- Humanitarian Aid to bring into Donbas
- Additional Cars to grow the fleet and save more people
- Technical Support to enhance mission safety - Drones, Body Armor, Radios, etc. 


Help Ukraine Center

Based in Lublin, Poland and founded by a number of Ukrainian businessmen/women, Help Ukraine Center is one of the largest Ukraine-only warehouse and logistical organizations in Europe. It is staffed almost entirely by Ukrainian people with the occasional foreigner (like me) mixed in. The center is focused on sorting aid and organizing shipments into Ukraine to deliver it where it is most needed. More information on the organization can be found here:https://helpukraine.center/

Funds will be spent on:
- Medical goods: tourniquets, bandages, medicine
- Food: shelf stable, long life, and high calorie
- Generators: backup power used to support hospitals, homes, etc. 
- Other goods: things for sleeping, hygiene products, pet food, children's toys

I would implore all of you to please give what you can. Over the last few weeks, I have seen donations to this cause drop off considerably meanwhile the war is only getting worse.
